I'm slowly realising that people don't like the purposeful artistic choices I make musically. The things that people provide feedback on as areas to improve are always decisions I've made on purpose... It's quite difficult to process cos I'm not going to sacrifice my expression for approval, but that does make me feel like I'm forever going to be unrecognised... and that kinda hurts. Anyone else ever feel like this?

It's been a rough year for me so far, I don't want to get into the weeds of it, but I've just been diagnosed with autism today. Honestly I'm still processing it, it literally re-contextualises my entire life experience. I know going forward this new understanding I have of myself will be a benefit. Its just all a bit overwhelming for me in this moment. I know there are a lot of autistic people who've found a home on NG and if anyone has any pointers or resources they use to help them navigate their experience, I'd be very grateful for any information.

So yeah, I'm autistic and probably ADHD too. I've still got to go through all the diagnoses for that though, so hopefully that'll be quicker because my autism diagnoses took 4 and a half months... but god knows. Anyway like I say, if anyone has any insights I'd greatly appreciate it.

Me and my lady friend @CariTheBean have decided to start an animation project together. She's and artist and I've got a rudimentary understanding of the process from things I've done in the passed. So we thought we'd start @DickSock as an excuse to make silly shit together.

First off a belated thanks for the 250 fans peeps, I genuinely appreciate it. I've been having a difficult time recently and it's wonderful to have a community like this to fall back on.

Also I've had a spring clean and rearrange so here are the results of that:

All the things in the flight cases on the desk are powered with battery packs, it’s all rigged up to be modular. So I can just pick up my groove box board or my Vocal/DJ board, play em anywhere, then get back and they just plug straightback into everything else. Basically I take those two cases and my laptop and I can produce music anywhere off grid. 😊

Anyway, cheers for reading if you made it this far. I'm debating doing some video stuff soon 🤔, it might not happen but my plan is to post them to YT make them private and embed them here so they're NG only. So... potentially keep your eyes peeled for those.
